How to choose
Gaon Find recommends no firm. What we can do is tell you what to ask and what you can check yourself. The answers come from the firm, not from us.
1 · What to ask when you call
What percentage do you take? Does that percentage change at any point? If the case is lost, do I owe anything?
Are there costs separate from your fee? Who pays those up front? What happens to them depending on the outcome?
Which attorney will actually work on my case? Is that the person I'm speaking to now?
How often will I hear about my case, and how? When I call, who answers?
Have you handled cases like mine?
Is there someone who can speak with me in my language? Will I need an interpreter?
By when does my case need to move forward?
That last one depends on your situation. We don't answer it — ask the firm.
2 · What you can check yourself
To practice law in Nevada, an attorney must be admitted by the State Bar of Nevada. Their license status and any public disciplinary history are free for anyone to look up.

Search the attorney's name, not the firm's. Ask which attorney will actually handle your case, then look up that person.
